Hello lovely humans,

It’s shaping up to be an exciting and busy summer, and I’m thrilled to share what’s on my plate!

I’ve got a full lineup of live shows over the next few months, and I can’t wait to hit the stage and connect with everyone. Be sure to check my events page and socials for the latest dates and venues.

Creatively, there’s a lot in motion. Driveway Thriftdwellers are in the studio working on our third album—we're excited to let a new batch of songs come to life and we can’t wait to share them with you! In just two days, we will be done with all the tracking. Next up is the mixing and mastering process. The album should be fit for public consumption sometime this summer. 

I’m also writing and recording a new solo single! The initial seed of the song came to me 15 years ago, and circumstances have aligned in a way that I feel like now is the time to bring the work to fruition. The song itself is a mysterious thing, a marriage of acoustic and electronic elements with a dark undercurrent that reflects today's political landscape. It's been extremely rewarding to dive into a single song and take my time with it, like I used to do in the (io) days. I'm not giving myself a hard deadline with this one, but I'd imagine this song will be released before the summer is over.

Meanwhile, The Big Payback continues to dive deep into the writing process. We're exploring new material and sounds, and the creative energy in the band has never been stronger! I'll also be recording some trombone on the upcoming Panchromatic Steel album. I can't tell you how great it feels to engage in so many creative projects.

Finally, Lonelyproof has had a sleepy winter but we are waking up slowly! We've just booked a show that I'll be able to announce soon. There will be more to follow.
